4th International Conference on Foodomics- 8-9 October 2015, Cesena, Italy
The International Conference on FoodOmics is the scientific forum where academic and industrial scientists involved in food and nutrition research discuss about the most recent advances in the "omics" approach. The fourth edition of the Conference, held in 2015, highlighted a new possibility to exploit the potential of this discipline inspiring the exploration of new pathways for the objective substantiation, with molecular evidences, of health claims associated to food products. Three food groups, namely grains, dairy and herbs & spices, have been selected as representatives of the whole diet.

Riunione Nazionale Società Italiana di Nutrizione Umana (SINU)- Annual Meeting of the Italian Society of Human Nutrition- 20-21 October 2014, Rome (Italy)
The Italian Nutrition Society (Società Italiana di Nutrizione Umana, SINU) is a non-profit scientific organisation that brings together the expertise in human nutrition existing in different academic sectors. The congress on 2014 has been aimed at gaining better insight into the emerging problems of nutrition research, to meet the Expo2015 challenge. The event was particularly aimed to define the criticalities in the field of human nutrition, in the perspective of opening new horizons or providing concrete answers to the identified criticalities.

NuGOweek 2014- 8-11 September 2014, Castellammare di Stabia (Italy)
NuGOweek 2014 was especially targeted to our younger students and post-docs, the next generation of nutrigenomics scientists. Some of them took the lead in designing and chairing a session with PhD students/post-docs as invited speakers, focusing on the applications of omics technologies to nutrigenomics. A multimedia session, based on Pathvisio open-access software, was also organized.
